Senior Architectural Technologist Job Description

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a highly skilled Senior Architectural Technologist to join their team in Bury St Edmunds. As a leading consultancy, they offer a dynamic and challenging work environment with opportunities for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare tender and construction stage drawings and specifications
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other consultants to ensure project goals are met
  • Undertake material research and specify building materials and finishes
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure that designs meet building codes and regulations
  • Contribute to the development of design proposals and presentations
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest building regulations and industry best practice
Requirements:
  • Minimum three years' experience as an Architectural Technologist
  • The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Architectural Technologist (MCIAT) or a skilled Architectural Technologist who is prepared to pursue this
  • Good knowledge with Revit
  • Knowledge of NBS would be advantageous
  • High technical standard
  • Strong construction detailing experience
  • Live within a commutable distance of Bury St Edmunds
