Cost Management Assistant

Tetra Tech is seeking a skilled Cost Management Assistant to support our dynamic Cost Consultancy team in the UK. The successful candidate will assist in all cost and procurement management processes, gaining experience in a diverse range of sectors including cutting-edge science and technology, higher education, and public sector.

The team has delivered projects for prestigious clients such as the Defence Infrastructure Organisation, The University of Oxford, and Oxford Colleges. There is also an opportunity for occasional foreign travel to assist with the delivery of projects for the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.

The Role:

Preparing tender and contract documents

Analysing tender returns and producing Tender Reports

Undertaking costs analysis for repair and maintenance project work

Assisting in the management and delivery of construction projects

Working closely with Architects, Structural Engineers, and Project Managers

Assisting with a range of pre and post contract surveying duties, including producing Cost Plans and Cost Reports, undertaking valuations, and valuing change

About You:

Degree in a relevant subject (Quantity Surveying) (BSc)

MS Office skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Self-Motivated

Full, clean UK driving license and ideally access to a vehicle

Ability to obtain security clearance
