A leading construction consultancy with a rich history spanning over five decades is seeking an accomplished Building Control Surveyor to spearhead their BSA Principal Design service.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and certifying building works, ensuring compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022 and other relevant regulations. This role involves plan-checking and supporting with pre-assessments. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the latest Building Safety Act 2022 regulations to guarantee projects are compliant and safety standards are upheld.

Main Responsibilities

  • Inspect and certify building works in accordance with Building Safety Act 2022 regulations
  • Conduct plan-checking and support pre-assessment activities
  • Ensure projects meet compliance and safety standards

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Building Control
  • Class 3 G/H RBI registration
  • Membership in a professional organisation (MCABE, MCIOB, CBuildE, MRICS, RIBA, MCIAT)
