About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our team at Kings Camps. As a Sports Coach, you will be responsible for delivering high-energy, fun, and inclusive sports sessions to children aged 5-17 years.

You will work closely with our Camp Manager and a team of like-minded individuals to create a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and develop new skills. Your primary focus will be on delivering sports sessions that cater to the needs and abilities of all children, regardless of their background or experience.

As a Sports Coach, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and help them develop essential life skills such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. You will also have the chance to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with opportunities for professional development and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-energy, fun, and inclusive sports sessions to children aged 5-17 years
  • Work closely with the Camp Manager and team to create a safe and supportive environment for children
  • Develop and implement sports sessions that cater to the needs and abilities of all children
  • Provide feedback and support to children to help them develop their skills and confidence
  • Contribute to the overall success of the camp by working collaboratively with the team
Requirements
  • At least 6 months' experience working with children from 5-17 years
  • At least 3 months' experience coaching a sport or active games
  • Vibrant, resilient, team player
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Level 2 or higher qualification in: Primary or Secondary Teaching; Sports Coaching; or Physical Education
  • Paediatric First Aid (training opportunities are also available)
