Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's critical engineering maintenance team in Northampton.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability and performance of automation assets through effective maintenance procedures. This will involve performing maintenance tasks, including preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance tasks, including preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance
  • Ensure the availability and performance of automation assets
  • Work collaboratively with the engineering team to identify and implement improvements
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of automation equipment and systems
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of ONC Electrical Engineering or NVQ Level 3 in a related field
  • Experience of maintaining automation equipment, ideally Programme Logic Controllers (PLC)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • A flexible approach to work, including willingness to work 12 hour shifts and participate in a shift rotation system
