Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced physiotherapist to join our team as a Physiotherapy Lead in Community Care. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop our community physiotherapy services, working closely with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to patients in their homes and local clinics.

About the Role:

As a key member of our community health services, you will be responsible for leading and developing our physiotherapy services, working collaboratively with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to patients in their homes and local clinics.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. To lead and develop our physiotherapy services, working collaboratively with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to patients in their homes and local clinics.
  2. To assess and treat patients with physical and cognitive difficulties in the community, working autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  3. To develop and implement treatment plans that meet the individual needs of patients, using evidence-based practice and clinical reasoning skills.
  4. To supervise junior colleagues and assistants, promoting their professional development and contributing to a positive work environment.
Person Specification:
  • Degree or diploma in physiotherapy
  • Registered with the Health Care Professions Council
  • Up-to-date relevant knowledge through CPD
  • Relevant post-registration experience covering core rotations, including community experience and falls, older people, frailty, long-term conditions, and MSK
  • Ability to use electronic clinical systems, such as RIO, EMIS, and Cerner
Salary:

£60,000 - £75,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
