We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our team in Kent, where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality social work services, working closely with colleagues, statutory, voluntary, and private sector agencies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing professional guidance and support to less experienced colleagues
- Acting as a role model and mentor to promote excellent social work practice
- Maintaining awareness of changes in child development theories, legislation, policies, and practices
- Representing Children's Services in court
The successful candidate will possess a degree in social work (CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent) and a variety of post-qualification experience of working with children and families. You will also have an in-depth understanding of legislative and policy frameworks, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive starting salary of £44,000, including an annual market premium payment of up to £5,000. Additionally, you will enjoy a range of benefits, including access to comprehensive training and development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a generous annual leave allowance.
