The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all machinery and equipment, with a focus on electrical and mechanical repair and preventative maintenance. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting electrical and mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment to a high standard.
• Identifying and resolving mechanical and electrical faults on production equipment, including CNC and PLC controlled machinery.
• Supporting the Maintenance Team Leader in planning and implementing preventative maintenance schedules and TPM activities.
• Assisting with the management of contractors and ensuring the effective use of resources.
• Collaborating with the Maintenance Management team to deliver the departmental strategy and associated Key Performance Indicators.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and ensuring CMMS data is up to date.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in maintenance engineering, with a strong background in electrical and mechanical repair and maintenance.
• Multiskilled, with a Mechanical or Electrical Apprenticeship qualification to ONC or equivalent NVQ level.
• Experience of PLCs, CNC, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial control systems.
