Paving Production Specialist

Heidelberg Materials AG, a leading supplier of construction materials in the UK, is seeking a highly skilled Paving Production Specialist to join their team.

As an Asphalt Plant Operative at Heidelberg Materials AG, you will play a critical role in ensuring the production of high-quality asphalt materials while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. The primary focus of this position is to effectively operate, inspect, and maintain an asphalt plant to meet the company's quality standards.

• Plan daily production based on customer requirements and plant capabilities, ensuring optimal throughput within the plant's capacity.
• Conduct thorough inspections and monitoring of the plant according to the site's established regime.
• Maintain accurate records for management requirements and perform routine maintenance tasks within your scope and competence.
• Operate mobile machinery such as Front-End Loaders (FEL) for loading and plant feed, and dumpers for mineral movement, under direction from site management.
• Ensure safe and proper operation of machines, adhering to Heidelberg Materials AG's safety protocols.

• Good general education required, with a strong understanding of health and safety regulations and Quarry Regulations.
• Certification by EPIC to operate mobile plant equipment.
• NVQ level 2 in mobile plant operations, obtained following EPIC completion.
