Materials Planning Role

We are looking for a skilled Materials Planner to join our team at Guidant Global. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading manufacturer of construction and agricultural machinery, JCB. Our Heavy Products Site in Uttoxeter requires a dedicated individual to ensure continuity in supply of parts to assembly and manufacturing operations.

The successful candidate will have experience in material requirements planning, lean inventory management, and supplier reviews. Excellent communication skills, particularly in working knowledge of MRP planning systems, are essential. SAP MRP based experience is advantageous but not mandatory. The ideal candidate will be highly PC literate, especially on Microsoft Excel.\r

The salary for this position starts at £18.46 per hour, based on a 39-hour working week (Monday to Friday). In addition to a competitive salary, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including 33 days paid holiday, work-based pension, overtime and time-and-a-half pay, additional shift allowance, staff canteen, free on-site parking, access to JCB's Employee Assistance Programme, and access to JCB's Gymnasium.
