At HVAC - FläktGroup UK, we are seeking a highly skilled Air Handling Unit Commissioning Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in commissioning, servicing and maintaining Air Handling Units (AHUs) and associated equipment in the London area.

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including overtime availability, 25 days holiday, life assurance scheme and more.

About the Role:

  • To attend sites as directed by the service controller to carry out technical assistance and engineering duties, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • To perform planned preventative maintenance, repair, refurbishment, alteration, modification or commissioning of plant and equipment as contracted to the company.
  • To produce weekly reports, timesheets and other necessary details for administrative staff to manage records, prepare invoices and maintain business operations effectively.
  • To conduct risk assessments on site where required, achieving compliance with health, safety and environmental duties.
  • To identify opportunities to add value to clients through provision of additional or alternative services and report such opportunities to line managers.
  • To assist local sales activities by submitting sales leads to the sales team, making a personal sales contribution.
  • To participate in meetings, briefings, training courses as part of overall communications and development processes.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Full UK driving license with no more than 6 points and enhanced DBS checks considered satisfactory.
  • Electrical qualifications beneficial for the role, while F-Gas certification, City and Guilds 2079 or NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning are advantageous.
  • Excellent fault diagnosis and commissioning skills on AHUs and air-conditioning equipment, along with IT skills in Microsoft packages like Word, Excel, database and email.
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team, with geographical knowledge of the operating area.
