The University of Sussex is seeking a highly skilled professional to lead its asset management efforts. As the Head of Asset Management, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the University's estate is utilized to its fullest potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a robust estate management plan that prioritizes space optimization, infrastructure, compliance, and environmental sustainability.
- Lead the development of strategic asset planning initiatives that maximize value from University assets.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders and team members to establish standards and policies for asset management.
- Ensure proactive approach to estate condition and functionality, space optimization, infrastructure, compliance, and environmental sustainability.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in strategic estate and asset planning in a relevant setting, either as a consultant or in a client-side role.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
- Ability to set standards and policy with senior stakeholders and team members.
