Our client, a leading independent Fire Systems Company in the South, is seeking an experienced multi-skilled Fire & Security Alarm engineer to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a talented Alarm Engineer to work with a highly skilled team, enjoying a 4-day working week and a generous package.

The Role:
  • Install, service, and commission intruder alarms, CCTV (IP & analogue), and access control systems.
  • Install, service, and commission a wide variety of both conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
  • Interpret system design, liaise with other building service suppliers, and understand relevant electrical safety issues.
  • Commission fire protection systems in accordance with BS5839 or the applicable standard(s).
  • Carry out small works concerning system additions and alterations by BS5839/BS5266 or the relevant standard(s) as applicable.
  • Respond to system breakdowns.
  • Servicing/Maintenance and fault finding of both conventional and analogue addressable Fire Detection Systems, EVC, Intruder, CCTV, Access control, and Emergency Lighting to the required standard(s).
You:
  • Excellent communication and customer relation skills.
  • At least 5 years of Fire & Safety industry experience.
  • A flexible attitude to working hours and the ability to work unsupervised.
  • Attention to detail and ability to apply practical thinking in problem-solving.
  • Good knowledge of Fire & Life Safety products, systems, procedures, and all relevant British/European Standards.
  • Knowledge of a variety of conventional and analogue addressable systems.
  • ECS/CSCS Card.
  • Knowledge of a variety of Intruder, CCTV, Access and both conventional and analogue addressable fire systems.
Package:
  • £28,000-£40,000 DOE.
  • 4 Day working Week (Fridays required during school holidays and Call out).
  • Company Van.
  • Fuel Card.
  • Door to Door Pay.
  • Annual Bonus.
