About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant in Spinal Rehabilitation to join our team at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. As a key member of our spinal injuries unit, you will be responsible for providing medical support to inpatients, running weekly outpatient clinics, and delivering an outreach service to patients awaiting admission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical support to inpatients on West 8
  • Run weekly outpatient clinics
  • Deliver an outreach service to patients awaiting admission
  • Contribute to the development and support of existing spinal rehabilitation services
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • On GMC Specialist Register for Rehabilitation Medicine / Specialty Registrar with CCT / CESR (Combined Programme) due within 6 months of interview date
  • MRCP / MRCS / MRCGP / FRCP or recognised equivalent
  • Four years full-time postgraduate training (or part-time equivalent), at least two years in spinal rehabilitation
