Education and Assessment Professional Job Description

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

We are seeking an experienced Education and Assessment Professional to join our team in Stoke-On-Trent. As an Education and Assessment Professional, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programmes and assessments to learners in a timely manner.

You will work closely with learners, line managers, and other stakeholders to support the learner journey, providing constructive feedback and guidance to help participants achieve their qualifications.

This is a temporary, part-time role that requires flexibility and the ability to work under your own supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver high-quality training programmes and assessments to learners in a timely manner.
  2. Support learners, line managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that learners achieve their qualifications.
  3. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with learners, line managers, and other stakeholders.
  4. Contribute to the development of new training programmes and materials.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes and make recommendations for improvement.
  6. Liaise with the Programme Manager to ensure that learners are progressing in line with their target achievement dates.
  7. Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to improve the quality of training programmes.
  8. Collaborate with other teams to share best practices and knowledge.
  9. Maintain accurate learner records, including paper/electronic portfolios.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in education and assessment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of Apprenticeship standards and assessment processes.
  • Teaching qualification and/or TAQA/A1/D32/33.
  • V1/D34.
