Electrical Engineering Opportunities

At AtkinsRéalis, we're seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you'll be responsible for the delivery of electrical engineering projects to clients or internal project teams. Your key responsibilities will include understanding client requirements and aspirations to identify and agree scopes of work, delivering high-quality work to agreed timescales and budgets, and developing your knowledge within rolling stock areas such as traction equipment, ETCS and signalling, auxiliary systems, and train control and safety systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design scrutiny and standards compliance assessment for electrical systems on new-build and modification projects.
  • Integration of new technology, including decarbonization and ETCS projects.
  • Performance analysis for journey time and energy consumption.
  • Undertake project management roles for projects managed by the Electrical Engineering team.
  • Identify technical, commercial, and safety risks associated with projects and ensure these are managed through each project phase.
  • Provide peer checking and approval of technical proposals and project deliverables.
