Role Overview:
Mason James Appointments (UK) Ltd is seeking an Automotive Electrification Engineer Leader to play a leading role in e-drive and power electronics controls as we advance electrification efforts in the automotive sector. The ideal candidate has a background in e-drive control software and power electronics, with proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink. A strong understanding of system engineering practices and automotive software quality standards is required.

Responsibilities and Challenges:
  1. Developing intelligent control systems for next-generation electrified powertrains.
  2. Specifying diagnostics, CAN communication, and safety monitoring strategies.
  3. Conducting testing and validation on electrical test benches, HiL, and vehicle platforms.
  4. Overseeing technical aspects of supplier delivery to ensure project milestones.
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic, Control Systems Engineering or a related field, and highly experienced in real-time embedded control systems. Experience with data logging and calibration tools, as well as knowledge of system engineering practices and automotive software quality standards.

Salary and Benefits:
The role offers a starting salary up to £80,000, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, performance bonus, free lunch, and more.
