About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 6 Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Enfield, North London. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the educational journey of our students.

Job Description

As a Year 6 Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality education and pastoral care to our students as they transition into Key Stage 2. Your primary focus will be on delivering the National Curriculum, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses
  • Keeping track of children's progress and occasionally reporting back to parents
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A qualified teacher status (QTS) with PGCE or equivalent
  • Experience in teaching Year 6 students and preparing them for SATs exams
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons and achieving excellent academic results
  • A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment methodologies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Patience, resilience, and a passion for teaching
