Electrical Systems Engineer

Job Overview
Gold Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to join their Smart Buildings team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and commissioning Building Management System (BMS) components and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and commission BMS components and equipment, including sensors, controllers, actuators, and software systems.
- Provide technical assistance and support to clients regarding their BMS systems.
- Identify opportunities for improvement/remedial works to improve the performance of the BMS's for our clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- City & Guild / BTec / NVQ Electrical qualification.
- Knowledge and experience with either Trend, Tridium Controls/Niagara/Distech/Siemens (training will be provided).
- Excellent working knowledge of the electrical industry.
- Ability to read and interpret Electrical & Mechanical schematic diagrams.
- Understanding of IT networks.
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Controls training/experience.
- Experience with fault finding in electrical panels.
- Report writing skills.
Benefits
The successful candidate can expect a salary of £35,000 - £55,000 per annum, plus a great car or car allowance package, 5% bonus, and benefits.
