We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team. As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting monthly management accounts, streamlining accounting functions, and developing forecasts and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting
    • Prepare and present monthly management accounts to senior management and stakeholders.
    • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business decision-making.
  • Accounting Operations
    • Streamline accounting functions and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Oversee the sales ledger and purchase ledger, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Financial Analysis
    • Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards to provide insights into business performance.
    • Identify areas for cost savings and implement process improvements.
  • Financial Planning
    • Develop and maintain financial plans and budgets to support business growth.
    • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies.
  • Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
    • Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure financial compliance.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
    • Provide financial guidance and support to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Previous experience preparing the full set of management accounts.
  • Strong stakeholder experience and excellent communication skills.
  • A part-qualified studier or qualified by experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, ideally Xero.
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
  • Excellent team-working skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
  • The ability to strategize and solve problems.
