Job Description

FireAngel Safety Technology plc is a leading provider of innovative home safety products, and we're on a mission to protect and save lives. We're seeking a highly skilled Sales Director to lead our efforts in the electrical wholesale channel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive financial goals and targets associated with the electrical wholesale channel
  • Develop and execute promotional plans across key wholesalers to achieve and surpass financial goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with national account customers and influencers in the installer and contractor space
  • Own financial metrics for the existing wholesale channel, ensuring forecasting and highlighting of issues or concerns
  • Proactively approach key contacts across the wholesale channel to mutually agree plans and activities
  • Review and improve plans and activities to ensure buy-in and support from top to bottom across the organization
  • Agree, manage, and monitor commercial agreements with wholesalers and negotiate future renewals
  • Work with sales apprentices to build out and execute on objectives in line with the delivery of the financial plan
  • Negotiate tactical pricing with wholesalers and bring to commercial board as appropriate
  • Build a powerful network of key decision makers and influencers across the wholesale channel, including in the contracting and installation space
  • Negotiate deals and incentives with contractors and installers to generate demand that the wholesale channel fulfills
  • Deliver excellent service and support to wholesalers

Requirements:

  • Excellent sales and interpersonal skills, with a minimum of 5 years in a B2B sales role
  • Knowledge and understanding of the wholesale/installer ecosystem and a network of contacts
  • Strong networking skills
  • Ability to work without supervision and use initiative
  • Computer literate, with high standards of Excel skills
  • Valid UK driving license
