We are Round-Peg Solutions (RPS), a managed service provider that has exclusively partnered with a leading Aerospace company to handle their recruitment process. We are seeking a highly skilled Master Scheduler to join their team on a long-term basis.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fantastic work environment, utilizing their expertise to drive production planning and scheduling. The role will initially begin as a 6-month contract with the potential to continue on an ongoing basis.

The Master Scheduler will be responsible for:

  • Creating and maintaining production and programme schedules in Oracle P6 / Primavera Cloud, aligning with production and sales forecasts.
  • Identifying opportunities for labour and facility flexing between programmes and products, ensuring production plans are met while labour capacity is fully utilized.
  • Assessing progress, tracking, and analyzing the impact of programme or project schedule forecast changes to identify potential threats.
  • Directing the timely processing of schedule updates, monitoring the accuracy of project schedules, and controlling version control changes.
  • Preparing and presenting monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) data.
  • Maintaining and controlling the programme or project schedule baseline to reflect any contracted amendments.
  • Controlling the allocation of contingency reserve and updates to the programme or project schedule baseline, ensuring alignment with the risk register.
  • Establishing and implementing standards and best practices across programmes or products.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in planning and scheduling complex tasks within an aerospace or similar industrial environment.
  • Ability to lead and support the S&OP process flow.
  • Extensive experience working with Oracle P6 or Primavera Cloud.
  • Experience working within a SAP environment.
  • Ability to ensure minimal disruption to the production line and consistent performance against production schedules and targets.
