Job Type: Part-Time
Hours: 22.5 hours per week plus pre-screens
Rate: £12.19 per hour (sleep-ins paid at an allowance of £45 per shift)
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Female Support Worker to join our team at Dimensions, a leading social care provider in England and Wales. As a Female Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to a lady living in Kinson, enabling her to live her best life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centered care and support to the lady, promoting her independence and well-being
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
- Encourage and support the lady to engage in activities she enjoys, such as Aqua Aerobics, drama classes, arts and crafts, baking, and pamper sessions
- Support the lady with sleep-in arrangements, which may include 1-2 sleep-ins per week
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the lady receives comprehensive care and support
Requirements:
- Experience working in social care or a related field
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies
- Enhanced DBS disclosure required
