Job Description

At Allied Insulators Ltd, we are seeking a Business Development / Product Manager to drive the continued growth of our business and ensure its long-term success.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Achieving agreed sales revenue and margins, preparing quotes and tenders as necessary
  • Identifying market opportunities and taking full responsibility for driving sales, working with the current directors to develop a sound business growth strategy for future success
  • Taking complete P&L ownership and maintaining a focus across operational functions of the business to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget
  • Developing mutually beneficial relationships, internally and externally, and gaining trust at all levels
  • Preparing and delivering monthly reports to Directors
  • Identifying and arranging participation in marketing events such as exhibitions and technical forums

Key requirements for the role include:

  • A strong communicator at all levels, with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to handle pressure when needed and have strong planning and organisational skills
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering customer satisfaction
  • Financially and commercially astute with a track record of delivering and exceeding agreed targets
  • Experienced in budget and report writing at a senior level
  • A strong leader, with excellent people management skills and the ability to motivate others
  • Pragmatic with an energetic, persuasive and engaging personality
