Job OverviewThis full-time position as a Senior Ophthalmologist offers the opportunity to specialize in Medical Retina and Uveitis. The role will be based primarily at our Eye Centre, with services also provided at other hospital sites.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in General Ophthalmology and experience in managing patients with subspecialty interest in Medical Retina and Uveitis. A medical degree from a recognized medical school and fellowship in Medical Retina and Uveitis are required qualifications.
Responsibilities- Supporting the provision of General Ophthalmology with a subspecialty interest in Medical Retina and Uveitis.
- Delivery of outpatient clinics and day case surgery.
- Workload includes seeing about 12 patients in face-to-face clinic and 24 patients in virtual clinic.
- Urgent and emergency care duties including out-of-hours on-call.
