Senior Research Scientist I

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Scientist I to join our team at SRG. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for driving and leading projects for external customers, from aiding in the design of experiments to presenting results to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities- Design and execute experiments, utilizing OOC applications and protocols to deliver high-quality projects to external customers.
- Manage projects using project management tools, ensuring timely completion and effective resource allocation.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data, presenting results in various formats to stakeholders.
- Maintain laboratory stocks and inventory management systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Communicate progress, successes, and challenges with the CRS, R&D team, commercial team, and wider company as required.
- Act as the primary contact for customers during projects, updating them on progress and collaborating to design experiments that meet their needs.
- Support and mentor junior team members, aiding in the training of new team members and assuming line management responsibilities as the project grows.
- PhD (or equivalent) in biology, bioengineering, or a related subject, with experience working in a regulated environment.
- Experience mentoring, training, and supporting other team members.
- Experience on customer-facing projects and liaising with external stakeholders.
- Experience working in life sciences (Biotech, Pharma, Contract Research) with an understanding of working in a regulated environment.
- Familiarity with project management tools and managing project timelines and resources.
