Job Description

The Strategic Financial Analyst will play a key role in long-term strategic planning, business analysis, annual budget building, and ongoing reporting/planning. The successful candidate will assist with:

  • Annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes
  • Month, quarter & year-end close activities and reporting processes
  • Preparing ad-hoc analysis and business case modeling as per business requirements
  • Engaging in continuous process improvement efforts to streamline financial planning and budget management processes for efficiency and accuracy

This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited college or university.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills, including trend and variance analysis
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills (Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, VLOOKUPs, Macros)
  • Experience with SAP, Tableau, Python, or BPC is beneficial
