The Recruiter Specialists Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Insurance Account Handler to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a long-established Broker based in Brentwood, handling a book of clients and managing HNW Personal Lines Business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare renewal schedules and contact clients prior to renewal within required timescales.
  • Negotiate alternative quotes with insurance companies prior to renewal dates where appropriate.
  • Act as a broking assistant to the private client account executive.
  • Handle all documentation, invoices, credit notes, and other administrative tasks to ensure a smooth and trouble-free renewal for clients.
  • Efficiently handle claims and ensure compliance with regulatory timescales.
  • Foster strong relationships with insurance companies and third-party partners.
  • Ensure delegated authority under agency agreements is not exceeded.
  • Operate an effective credit control system and report as required.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering exceptional customer service and providing ongoing support.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts to clients.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Insurance industry certifications (e.g. Cert CII or Dip CII are welcomed).
