Cover Supervisor Position

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Cover Supervisor at a comprehensive secondary school in the Dover area.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising classes in the absence of the class teacher, delivering pre-prepared lesson plans effectively across various subjects and year groups, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise classes and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
- Deliver lesson plans and engage students in learning activities
- Manage classroom behaviour and uphold school policies
- Provide support and guidance to students as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to varying classroom environments
- Previous experience as a cover supervisor or in a similar role is desirable but not essential
- Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure and professional reference checks
- CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
- Legal right to work in the UK
