Senior Quantity Surveyor

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at First Recruitment Group - IT Careers. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate cost and value reporting and forecasting of our alliance, mitigating adverse financial impacts and ensuring effective capture of costs.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Ensure accurate cost and value reporting and forecasting to mitigate adverse financial impacts
* Ensure effective capture of costs and allocation of costs appropriately
* Identify, report and escalate commercial risk, such as early warning notices, to ensure appropriate mitigation is implemented
* Assist the Commercial Manager in determining operational commercial reporting requirements of the alliance
* Self-assurance of commercial data and contractual processes
* Anticipate sub-contracting requirements of the alliance and ensure robust sub-contracts are put in place
* Embed commercial awareness across the alliance to enable prudent commercial decisions
* Establish and embed key commercial performance metrics and baselines
* Act as mediator in the resolution of contractual and financial disputes
