As a key member of our team, the Group Inventory Accountant will be responsible for managing inventory accounts and overseeing financial transactions within the retail sector.

Job Overview

  • Manage and oversee inventory accounts for the retail sector, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with the accounting and finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting, utilizing expertise in using accounting software and other financial systems.
  • Conduct regular audits and provide recommendations for improvement, identifying areas of risk and proposing mitigation strategies.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in inventory accounting within the retail industry, holding a minimum AAT Level 2 qualification or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise in using accounting software and other financial systems, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on location and experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package and generous holiday leave.
