Job Description

The role of Volunteer Treasurer (Financial Expertise) is a critical part of our team. You will work closely with our Chief Officer, Finance Manager, and Head of Service to provide expert financial guidance and ensure the organisation's financial stability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor income and expenditure, presenting accessible reports to the Board
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies
  • Support the finance team in preparing budgets, accounts, and financial statements
  • Present annual accounts at the AGM in an accessible way

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Accountancy qualifications or significant accounting experience
  • Understanding of charity finances, fundraising, and financial consequences
  • Excellent communication and IT skills

Estimated Salary: £22,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
