About the Role:
  • Work on a diverse range of projects, including habitat restoration, biodiversity conservation, and environmental impact assessments.
  • Conduct pre-planning protected species surveys, assessments, and mitigation design through to post-planning works.
  • Develop expertise in BNG (Biodiversity Net Gain) and ensure that legal requirements are met for each project.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled ecologist to join our client's dynamic, multi-disciplinary team in Leeds. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of conservation legislation and protected species licensing, ideally holding at least one survey/handling license for a protected species. A full UK driving license is also required.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
