**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part Time Senior Accountant to join our team at Crossways Recruitment. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for providing expert accounting services to our clients, including preparing statutory accounts, corporation tax computations, and year-end accounts.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Conduct audits and reviews of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Liaise with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored accounting solutions
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting records
  • Provide expert advice on tax planning and compliance, including corporation tax, income tax, and VAT
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

**Requirements:**

  • ACCA/ACA qualified or equivalent
  • Proven experience working in an accountancy practice
  • Excellent knowledge of Xero Accounting and other accounting software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
