Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing our data strategy, leading a high-performing data team, and promoting a culture of digital innovation and best practice. With a strong focus on data quality and governance, this role will play a critical part in shaping our future success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that meets business needs and objectives.
  • Lead a talented team of data professionals, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Promote a culture of digital innovation and best practice within the organisation, leveraging technology to drive business value.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of our data assets, implementing data quality controls and governance processes as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in data management, analytics, and business intelligence, with a strong understanding of enterprise architecture and development activities.
  • Demonstrable capability for strategic thinking, with the ability to analyse complex data and develop well-formed conclusions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing and improving data quality, with tangible outcomes.
  • Knowledge of change management principles and practices, with the ability to lead successful programmes that engage employees, customers, and stakeholders.
