Job Description:


As a Senior Business Contracts Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to help develop the go-to-market strategy and deliver on our spend adoption plans with our Commercial, Public, and Strategic customers.


You will oversee group reviews of all customer contractual and purchase documents, coordinate legal activities for contract/agreement negotiation, and support the competitive bid process.


The ideal candidate possesses demonstrated contract and/or proposal management experience in the procurement and/or category management space, an ability to identify and drive global process improvements, and an eye for detail with a drive to follow-through.


You will be able to solve business and technical requirements for our customers and partners, working with internal teams to quickly build the best proposal.


Successful candidates will have outstanding communication skills with internal and external stakeholders, as well as industry background that enables them to develop win themes and technical discriminators for inclusion into proposals.


The ideal candidate will be able to support business contracts in German and English.



Required Skills and Qualifications:


To succeed in this role, you will need:



  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Fluent German and English skills (C1+ level)
  • Several years of contracts management (including managing large contracts), procurement, legal or other relevant experience with public or private sector customers
  • Excellent communicator who can quickly earn the respect of teams and customers
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills


Estimated Salary:


€80,000 - €100,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.

This role can be located in the following Amazon Business locations: London (UK), Munich/Berlin (Germany), Paris (France), Milan (Italy), Madrid (Spain), or Luxembourg (LUX).
