About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join our team at The Odney Hotel, located in 130 acres by the River Thames in Cookham, Berkshire. This is a unique opportunity to work in a beautiful and historic hotel, offering both character and charm to our guests.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of the kitchen, providing a consistently high-quality dining experience while maintaining sales, reputation, and profit of the kitchen as agreed by the Head Chef and Sous Chef.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce agreed menus to a high standard
  • Supervise the department when required
  • Provide guidance to the Commis Chef
  • Control stock and minimize wastage
Requirements
  • Relevant professional chef qualifications: City & Guilds diplomas in professional cookery, BTEC HNC in professional cookery, or equivalent
  • Experience working in a professional kitchen, demonstrating flair and a good palate
