We are seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join our team at The Odney Hotel, located in 130 acres by the River Thames in Cookham, Berkshire. This is a unique opportunity to work in a beautiful and historic hotel, offering both character and charm to our guests.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of the kitchen, providing a consistently high-quality dining experience while maintaining sales, reputation, and profit of the kitchen as agreed by the Head Chef and Sous Chef.
Key Responsibilities- Produce agreed menus to a high standard
- Supervise the department when required
- Provide guidance to the Commis Chef
- Control stock and minimize wastage
- Relevant professional chef qualifications: City & Guilds diplomas in professional cookery, BTEC HNC in professional cookery, or equivalent
- Experience working in a professional kitchen, demonstrating flair and a good palate
- Full-time working holiday entitlement of 22 days holiday, plus public and bank holidays
- Free meals whilst on duty for Live-Out roles and free meals for Live-In roles
- 25% discount at John Lewis and 20% in Waitrose after 3 months of employment
- A competitive pension scheme with Partnership contributions matched up to 8% of pay
