Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer Power Systems

Estimated Salary: £55,000 per annum

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. As part of the Electrical Verification Team, you will be involved in the verification and validation of the power system.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct load flow, short circuit, and stability analysis of an electrical power system.
  2. Manage and analyze the electrical load budget.
  3. Develop and validate electrical models.
  4. Collaborate with multi-discipline teams, suppliers, and stakeholders on matters related to the power system.
  5. Prepare technical reports, calculations, and presentations communicating results and advising recommendations.
  6. Mentor and develop other team members.
Requirements:
  1. Degree qualified or equivalent experience in electrical engineering.
  2. Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership.
  3. Knowledge of high power and medium voltage power systems and distributions.
  4. Experience conducting electrical load budget and load flow analysis.
  5. Understanding of power system analysis software tools (e.g., ETAP, Simulink/Simscape, MATLAB).
  6. Stakeholder management experience.
