About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sterile Services Technician to join our team at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for the sterilization and disinfection of medical equipment, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Preparing and sterilizing medical equipment, including surgical instruments and flexible endoscopes
  • Ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned, disinfected, and packaged
  • Working effectively as part of a team to achieve high-quality results
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any issues or concerns

Requirements
