Job Opportunity
TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join a reputable independent firm of chartered accountants in Bournemouth. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit and accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients.

We are looking for a professional with a minimum of 12 months experience and studying towards ACCA or ACA. The ideal candidate will have a practical audit and accounts experience gained from an accountancy practice, a knowledge of various software packages, and strong communication and team working skills. Experience in direct contact with clients would be an advantage.

Responsibilities:
  • Assisting with audits, including planning and field work.
  • General bookkeeping duties and preparation of VAT returns.
  • Preparation of management accounts.
  • Preparation of forecasts and reporting.
  • Preparation of year-end statutory accounts.
  • Preparation of personal and corporation tax returns for individuals and companies.
  • Supporting the wider team with ad hoc duties as needed.


Requirements
  • Minimum of 12 months experience and studying towards ACCA or ACA.
  • Practical audit and accounts experience gained from an accountancy practice.
  • Knowledge of various software packages.
  • Strong communication and team working skills.
  • Experience in direct contact with clients preferred.
