Job OverviewWe are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at The Ullswater Inn. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing a team of staff, and contributing to the overall success of the inn.
Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this position is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including:
- 50% off food in any of our inns
- 1 bed and breakfast in any of our inns during January, February or March
- 1/3 off room bookings all year round

- 50 on the day bookings for bed and breakfast at any of our inns

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm welcome for all guests
- Managing a team of staff to achieve Company Standards
- Liaising with Chefs, Hotel Management and Suppliers
- Stocktaking and ordering
- Dealing with Accounts Management
- Day to day shift running in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Sending and receiving instructions from the General Manager
- Daily and weekly administrative tasks in line with the operation of a busy food and beverage operation
- Leading a busy environment from the front, by example
- As part of the job requirement, this role may require the need for sleepovers and to respond to guests' needs during the night
Please note that this role requires a strong background in food and hospitality, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
