About the Role
  • Design and develop software systems for vehicle control systems and driver displays.
  • Integrate vehicle chassis, powertrain, and body systems into the overall vehicle control strategy.
  • Engage with suppliers to specify software and parameters to meet specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Program design, development, and delivery for vehicle primary control system using PLC.
  2. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components.
  3. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance with specifications and requirements.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development and integration, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages and software development methodologies.

The estimated salary for this role is £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
