Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our team in the Learning Disabilities Community Support Team. The successful candidate will work closely with a range of experienced psychologists and multidisciplinary staff teams to provide therapy and intervention from a psychological model of care.
The role involves contributing to the development and delivery of a new service to meet the needs of individuals with autism in Derbyshire. You will play a key role in the continued development of the service, working closely with community services, multi-agencies, and other key stakeholders to support individuals who are in crisis or require an intensive community response.
About the Role- Assessment and interventions as part of a specialist multi-disciplinary service
- Supervision and training of junior staff members
- Service development and research
- Contribution to the implementation of the dementia pathway for people with a learning disability
- Post-graduate doctorate in Clinical Psychology or due to complete training in 2024
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (or eligible if due to complete training in 2022)
- Post-qualifications in area of speciality
- Experience of working as a qualified (or soon to be) Clinical psychologist in a relevant clinical speciality
- Experience in working with adults with learning disabilities and autism, their families/carers in community settings
