About the Role

University of the Arts London is seeking a highly skilled Identity and Access Management Specialist to join its Digital & Technology team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining identity and access management solutions to ensure secure and seamless access to resources for staff and students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direction and support to teams across the organisation to ensure a systems infrastructure that meets the current and future needs of the University.
  • Design, implement, and maintain identity and access management solutions to ensure secure and seamless access to resources.
  • Collaborate with various teams to develop and enforce identity-related policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Assess emerging technologies and determine how they can be used to improve the student and staff experience.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in identity and access management, with a focus on designing and implementing solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Experience with identity and access management tools and platforms, including Open text Identity Manager, Open Text Access Manager, Microsoft Active Directory, and Entra ID.
  • In-depth knowledge of identity management standards and protocols, such as LDAP, SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
  • Strong understanding of security principles and best practices, including encryption, PKI, and role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
