About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Machine Setter to join our team at Pertemps Redditch Industrial. As a Machine Setter, you will be responsible for learning and working on various bespoke machines and lines, working closely with the operations and production manager to understand setting routines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Learn and work on various bespoke machines and lines
  • Focus on advancing process improvements
  • Ensure health, safety, cleanliness, and security of the work environment is maintained
  • Operate any machinery within the workshop and be willing to help in different areas if necessary
Requirements
  • Worked in a Manufacturing or Engineering environment, with relatable experience
  • Knowledge of Quality Control Systems and Health & Safety at work
  • A familiarity with SMED and route cause analysis
  • A background dealing with glass and an understanding of the safety issues that come with handling such materials are desirable
