Clinical Psychologist Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to lead our team of psychologists in providing high-quality, evidence-based psychological therapies to our service users.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver timely, evidence-based, and highly specialist psychological therapeutic interventions for people accessing our service.
- Take a key leadership role within the service, ensuring the development and delivery of high-quality psychological therapies.
- Exercise full responsibility for and provide highly developed expert psychological and mental health assessments based on complex data from various sources.
- Provide highly specialist treatment and management formulations, shared in a highly skilled and sensitive manner with patients and others.
- Refine and develop highly specialist programmes of psychological treatment for the service user group, taking into account the complex nature of their presentation.
- Provide expert and highly specialist advice, guidance, and clinical consultation to other professionals within the wider Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB community.
- Lead and promote the availability of consultation as a means of fostering specialist clinical skills to increase the availability of specialist therapies across the UHB.
- Be fully responsible and autonomous in decisions and actions regarding treatment and discharge of clients on their caseload.
- Ensure that all members of the wider service have access to a psychological framework to enable the understanding and care of all patients within these services.
- Highly developed expert psychological and mental health assessment skills.
- Ability to develop and deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychological therapies.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
