**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly experienced Payroll Officer to join our client's team in Eastleigh. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing monthly payroll, handling starters, leavers, and salary changes, processing tax, NI, and pension payments, and reconciling payroll accounts.

**Key Tasks:**

  • Process accurate and timely payroll.
  • Reconcile payroll, pension control accounts, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Prepare and submit tax, National Insurance, and other statutory deductions to HMRC.
  • Manage employee benefits, including processing pension payments and liaising with providers.
  • Assist with year-end payroll tasks.
  • Provide advice and support on payroll-related queries.
  • Ensure GDPR compliance.
  • Handle absence compliance, including sickness, holiday, and parental leave records.

**Salary and Benefits:**

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, free parking, and the opportunity to work with a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants.
