Job Title: Mobile Plant Engineer

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Plant Engineer to join our team at Interaction Recruitment. As a Mobile Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for traveling to client sites to perform maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Diagnose complex technical issues and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
* Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide expert recommendations.
* Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
* Keep detailed records of service activities, parts used, and work completed for accurate reporting.

**Requirements:**

* Previous experience working in the Plant, Automotive, HGV or Agricultural industry (essential).
* Previous experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential).
* Experience working on engines would be advantageous.
* Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience.
* A desire to lead, manage and grow a team of your own.
* Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous).
* Full UK Drivers License.

**What We Offer:**

* 22 days Annual Leave + Public Holidays / Increasing by 1 day for every year of service (25 overall).
* All overtime over 8 hours per day is paid at 1.5x (£21-£24 per hour).
* A minimum of 5 hours of overtime available per week (average availability is 15-20 hours) Min (5 hours): Additional £5,460pa / Average (17 hours) : Additional £18,564pa.
* Salary Sacrifice Scheme for an addition 5 days annual leave per annum.
* Laptop, Company Vehicle & Fuel Card.
* Full training & development with a focus on internal progression, route is as follows: (Workshop/Mobile Engineer > Lead Engineer > Hiring Manager > Site Manager > Regional Manager).
* All of the above promotions accompany substantial increases in salary and benefits.
