As an Engine Bay Workshop Mechanic, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery and collection of engines, performing inspections, and ensuring the day-to-day housekeeping of the engine bay is of a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engine Delivery and Collection: Oversee the delivery and collection of engines, ensuring they are properly stored and maintained.
  • Inspections and Maintenance: Perform inspections of incoming engines and generate the required paperwork, as well as perform engine preservation work and component replacements.
  • Housekeeping and Organization: Ensure the engine bay is clean and organized, with all necessary tools and equipment readily available.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Liaise closely with the Powerplant Dept in Tech Services and ensure all AMOS WO's are closed in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Mechanical Engineering Background: A mechanical engineering background is essential for this role.
  • Turbine Engine Experience: Previous experience working with turbine engines is highly desirable.
  • Communication and Computer Skills: Good communication and computer skills are required, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Language and Driving Requirements: Good English language skills, both written and spoken, are essential, as well as a full driving license.
