About the Position

As a Field Service Diesel Technician, you will play a key role in supporting our local operations. With a focus on service, maintenance, and repair of diesel generators up to 2MVA, this is an excellent opportunity to join a company that prioritizes technical excellence, work-life balance, and employee well-being.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in diesel power systems, with a strong track record of working with diesel engines and control systems. This includes fault finding, upgrades, and installation work for standby generators, as well as supporting system improvements.

This is a locally focused role with minimal long-distance travel, ensuring a balanced lifestyle and more time at home. The successful candidate will participate in a manageable call-out rota and receive strong support from a technically proficient team.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years' experience with diesel engines, power, and control systems
  • Great customer service skills; confident managing client relationships
  • Proactive and organized with strong time-management skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
